“I had the pleasure of spending time with Sara as she cared for my Nana. As soon as Sara entered the room, Nana’s face lit up with joy. I have never seen someone so attentive and genuinely compassionate. We have an overwhelmingly large family but that never seemed to affect Sara’s day to day tasks when people would filter in and out of the house throughout the day. She allowed the family to spend time with Nana while at the same time tending to her needs without missing a beat.
At the end of Nana’s life, Sara not only tended to Nana but was also there for us emotionally. It’s effortless to be around her. We exchanged stories, laughed with the good times, and cried with the tough times. She was the first one to see someone having a tough time accepting their loved ones' condition and go give them a hug or try to talk them through the process and assure them their loved one was comfortable.
